BEFORE IT BEGINS
FREE COUNSELING AND SUPPORT
Before It Begins provides resources and events that inspire personal repentance and equip all believers to protect and promote biblical sexuality and gender.
Every credentialed minister is eligible for FREE SUPPORT for sexual purity. In addition to that, non-credential leaders are eligible for $75/month. We encourage of all our churches to make this service available for their key leaders.
Before It Begins staff can host either online or in-person meetings on:
- Biblical Sexuality in the Church
- How to Talk to your kids about Sex and Gender
- Pornography
- LGBTQ
- Sexual Restoration and Ministry Training
- Purity and Holiness Conference
- Sexual Theology
This service is a monthly support from the Connect Region through Before It Begins. Please take advantage of this resource so we can be committed to God’s call in your life.

There are many unexpected and challenging situations and opportunities that senior leaders will face as they navigate today’s sex and gender environment. Before It Begins has experience navigating these waters and we are available to help.

Update About the The Regional Leadership Team
We’re excited to welcome Wim Codington to our team. Wim has agreed to serve a 90-day trial role as the secretary/treasurer to see if it is a long term fit for the team.
Wim will be important to us as we move toward a balanced budget in the region while maintaining an outward focused disciple-making mission. His experience as a CPA with Earnst and Young (one of the world’s most respected Accounting firms) along with his deep passion for submitting to God and making disciples will be the gifts that he brings to the table to help us continue to build a firm foundation for future growth and stability in the Connect Region.
Wim is married to Libby and lives in Nashville, TN with their 4 children Carrie (15), Wim (13). Seth (11), and Vera (8).
Welcome to the team, Wim! We are thankful that the Lord sent you to us during this season of stabilizing the region.
NEW District Names
As we continue to execute our strategic plan at the Connect Region, we have voted to change the name of our district to be more in alignment with one another. The New District names are:
- Connect Carolinas
- Connect Florida
- Connect Georgia/Alabama
- Connect Kentucky/Tennessee
- Connect Mid-Atlantic
- Connect Midwest
We hope this helps us to feel more aligned in our mission to multiple disciples.
